Emily’s life had three basic rules, love her family fiercely. Never expect forever and most importantly, shield her heart from pain. At a tender age she had learned love is not forever, sex destroys and if you don’t invest your heart, it can never be broken. She played life safe.
All it takes though, is one moment, a defining light in the perpetual darkness to bring life into your heart. For Emily, it was a night she would never forget, an ordinary evening of dancing, drinking and if she was in the mood, a brief one night stand. But then he beguiled her. His emerald eyes captivated and enslaved her to him.
What Emily didn’t anticipate was the mysterious giant to sit beside her and rock her foundations. His dirty mouth and sexy innuendos intrigued her. The green eyed Adonis took her for the ride of her life, on his motorbike. One she would never forget. He intertwined himself into her life and captured her soul.
But the illusion of beauty can hide a broken past. And as the lovers fall deeper, the darkness leeches into the light, suffocating and destroying all within its path. Until there is nothing left but betrayal and shattered hearts.
* This is the third book in the Surviving Series but can be read as a standalone.

It's an okay story. I'm really enjoying the series (currently on book 4), but to me this was the weakest of the series. Most of the problems between the Hero and heroine were misunderstandings blown out of proportion that could have been resolved by sitting down and talking rather than refusing to let the other person speak and running off to sulk while avoiding contact with any friends who could clear up said misunderstanding. Those types of problems always feel contrived particularly compared to the much meatier conflicts in books 1 and 2. In the end, I still enjoyed the book overall, but I'm not sure I feel like you'd miss anything if you skipped straight from book 2 to book 4. I did like the background characters, twins Castor and Acis. I hope Castor gets his own book later on.Product details

Double Betrayal Surviving Book 3 edition by Ada Frost Becky Johnson Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Another great read from Ada. Sometimes you find a new writer and when you finish their story and can't wait for the next one, this is Ada. I am so very glad I found her and her stories of Jonah, Will and Ryan.
I love this series (Surviving Series). Will and Emily's explosive relationship is a fun read, and let's not forget the other characters that we've already introduced to in the other books. Will sure surprised me ( in a good way). I hope there is another book. Can't wait.
I have read this book three times now. l love how Emily loves Izzy with all her heart, and it is great how will just won't give up on Emily.
I love this series so much! I love how all the characters interact with one another.
This book was just ok. There are still timeline issues that really bug me, it should not be that difficult to do simple math to make things add up. The characters were likeable enough but their story was a lot of misunderstandings blown out of proportion or impulsive actions that don’t make much sense.
Ada Frost has become one of my favorite authors. I have loved this series so much but I have to say this book is by far my favorite one! Oh my gosh Will, I don't even know what to say about this man. He is one hot alpha male! I was so intrigued with his story line that I couldn't wait to read his book and I wasn't disappointed at all. Emily is such a strong female with a past that will make your heart hurt for her but also you learn how strong she is. Will and Emily both have been scorned in such a shocking way that to see them love each other so completely and honestly will leave you smiling. Seeing Will not only shower Emily with his love but also watching him fall in love with Izzy will melt your heart. Oh and Will and his motorcycle just might have you blushing. One click this book immediately!
This book is a nice break from all the heaviness of books 1 and 2. Emily loves her family and will do anything to protect them. She even loves her wacked out crazy twin who does nothing but tear Emily down. Emily has be betrayed by her first love so she's sworn off relationships. Will has also been betrayed by love. Can these two look past thier insecurities and fall in love? Or are they so used to betrayal that there isn't any hope? Will is a sexy alpha who wants Emily in the worst way. She brings out his hidden Alpha and let me tell you it's super hot. Ada Frost does an amazing job of letting the reader into these characters thoughts and feelings. She does a great job with the dual POV. There is still plenty of emotional feels but not as heavy as the past two stories. This one has much more dirty talking and clandestine sex. I loved every minute of this book and couldn't help but feel for these two characters. There were times I yelled because they were too stubborn or didn't something very frustrating. But I still loved this book. Ada Frost's books keep getting better and better.
I think my feelings have whiplash! I love books that cover an entire spectrum of emotions and Double Betrayal definitely gave me my rainbow of sensations. I think I freaking loved the hero, then wanted to junk-punch him, and then felt sorry for him, and was back to loving him again over the course of like two chapters.
The prologue starts out with eagerness that quickly morphs to heartbreak. And then chapter one shifts gears into steamy hot sexiness. Seriously, I'll never look at a motorcycle the same again after that uber hot scene! Whew! **fanning myself over here!**
I loved the ride Ada Frost took me on...almost as much as the ride Will took Emily on!! If you want a story that will make you tear up with laughter one second and then tear up with heartbreak the next and then ignite your ovaries the second after that, then this is the story for you.
And the heroine whew, I love Em's brash, catty side as much as I love her soft loveable, maternal side. There's just so much to her! I love all their heartbreaking backgrounds that make everyone react the way they do! It's full of depth and emotion, and has a saucy layer of playful naughtiness drizzled on top!
Plus, Johan (one of my favorite book boyfriends EVER) is in this book, so...enough said! It's awesome!
I can't wait to find out more about Ryan; I already know I'm going to need an entire box of tissues for his story.
